My Bad! Sorry about that!
The last update I released for the poker clock had a bug in it that made it incredibly difficult to eliminate players from the game.  I fixed this today and there's an update that will come through the next time you start up the clock.

In addition to that fix, I made a few more updates:

1.  Added a Points column to the individual game stats form.  Now you can see the prize winnings and points for each player for each individual game on that page.

2.  Added a new form to allow you to update the points and prize winnings in each individual game.  Do you have a point structure that the clock doesn't account for?  Now you can set the points manually and easily to make sure your stats are accurate.

3.  Added top point winners to the game form under the top money winners section.  If no one in your stats have points, it won't show up at all.

4.  Added the option to change the form colors as the round changes.  If you want to use this option, on the main form, under Options, check the 'Change Background Colors' option.  The background will change back and forth between black and white.

5.  Updated the app so it will save the last tournament you have selected, so the next time you start it, that tournament will automatically be selected.

Let me know if you run into any problems with it!

More Poker Clock Updates coming soon

Now that I finally have some more time to mess around with the clock, I'm going to be adding a couple more updates in the near future, maybe this weekend.  Also, just to clarify, when I say I'm making updates to the poker clock, I mean the PC version that you download.  That one's my baby.  I use it for my own weekly game and as I see areas to improve, I improve them!

The two updates I'm going to be making shortly are actually requests that I got through the site.  The first one will be to change the backround color of the screen when the round changes.  This should help that 2nd table out that's not right next to the clock so that they'll know when the blinds go up.  I'll make it an optional thing that you can change on the main form so if it annoys you, you don't have to use it.  I'm thinking I'll just switch from the black backround to a white one and then back to black.

The 2nd request was to be able to display the chip values on the clock.  For all of you that don't have the denominations written right on the chips, this should cut down on questions.

I'm also going to be adding a skip round/break button on the clock form itself.  If you accidently program in a break, or make some other mistake setting up the game, this should help to get back on track.

So, look for the updates coming soon!  Also, I don't generally update the installer when I make updates, I just publish them to the site and the clock will automatically download the updates as long as it has an internet connection.  So if you want to get the updates, make sure you allow it to go out and check.  Its not sending any data to me, its just checking for updates and downloading them.

Updates to the poker clock!
I know, its been a long time.  But I've finally gotten around to making some updates to the clock!  They are relatively minor, but I think they're nice touches...

1.  I added a player count on the main form above the list of players.  As you check players it will tell you how many people have been selected, so you can get a quick count without looking through the list.

2.  On the actual game form, you can now just hit the space bar to start/stop the game.  No more trying to click the start button, or explaining to someone what to click on!

3.  I added a Top Points Winner stats page, under Stats on the top menu.  It works the same way as the top money winners, but just shows points instead of money.

4.  I fixed a bug that was causing the player who finised 2nd to be written out to the results file with no points associated with them.  If you've been using points all along, you might run into some trouble here.  Email me through the contact form if you have trouble and I can explain how to fix it.

5.  I added an individual game stats page.  It shows a list of all the games you've played and you can select each one to see what place everyone came in, when they went out, and how much they won.  This should help settle any disputes about who won 3 weeks ago.  Assuming you use the Man Down button when people get knocked out!

Enjoy!
