A successful night of poker!
This past Friday was the first winning poker night I've had in a long time. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a horrible player, at least I don't think I am, but I often play drunk, which tends to make me a horrible player for that game. On Friday I played one of the most disciplined games of my life, and more than doubled my money at a 2-4 limit hold'em table at Turning Stone.
I can't take all the credit though. I'd really like to thank the guy at seat 7. He dumped around $500 into the table (Yes, $500, at a 2-4 table). He played every hand, and folded on the river about 80% of the time. When he did show down, he normally had nothing. He really helped me out, and I just wanted to thank him.
I'll be looking for you next week Mr. Seat 7. You are a poker player's dream come true.
