Version 2.0 of the world famous poker clock was released earlier this afternoon, as reported by news agencies around the globe. The new release contains many small fixes and tweaks to the clock itself, but perhaps most notable is the new stat tracking functionality. The tournament manager has always been able to track stats on your local computer. However, now you can upload those stats to www.poker-clock.com and share them with all of your poker friends.

Simply register on the site, create a "game" and then you can upload the stats directly to the web from the program. Login to view them, invite friends to schedule events, message the entire group, and view standings!

"The most amazing thing I've ever seen" says one person.

"It's so awesome my head is about to explode" says another.

Experts around the world agree that this new version of the poker clock is a minimum of 10x better than anything Rob Magnanti has ever done in his entire life, including the time he did karaoke at Daisy Dukes.

"Rob should probably kill himself" says his mother, "He peaked early in life and it's all downhill for him from here"

Now that I finally have some more time to mess around with the clock, I'm going to be adding a couple more updates in the near future, maybe this weekend.  Also, just to clarify, when I say I'm making updates to the poker clock, I mean the PC version that you download.  That one's my baby.  I use it for my own weekly game and as I see areas to improve, I improve them!

The two updates I'm going to be making shortly are actually requests that I got through the site.  The first one will be to change the backround color of the screen when the round changes.  This should help that 2nd table out that's not right next to the clock so that they'll know when the blinds go up.  I'll make it an optional thing that you can change on the main form so if it annoys you, you don't have to use it.  I'm thinking I'll just switch from the black backround to a white one and then back to black.

The 2nd request was to be able to display the chip values on the clock.  For all of you that don't have the denominations written right on the chips, this should cut down on questions.

I'm also going to be adding a skip round/break button on the clock form itself.  If you accidently program in a break, or make some other mistake setting up the game, this should help to get back on track.

So, look for the updates coming soon!  Also, I don't generally update the installer when I make updates, I just publish them to the site and the clock will automatically download the updates as long as it has an internet connection.  So if you want to get the updates, make sure you allow it to go out and check.  Its not sending any data to me, its just checking for updates and downloading them.
